Felted Primitive

Having just read an article in the International Feltmakers Association magazine, Echoes, from a german feltmaker who seems to have similar concerns to mine, I feel a little more encouraged to continue exploring these issues.

I don’t just want to be negative about things, but it’s a complex situation;

1. We need to encourage feltmaking, but in a “real” sense, and to try to lose the hobby status…
2. at the same time need to encourage “hobby” felting…
3. We need some kind of (dare I say it) standard vis à vis quality… (these can be personal standards, not EU regulations.)
